Description

General Motors built this experimental " Aerotrain" in 1955, using bus bodies on railroad wheels as its coaches. After being tested by three different railroads in actual passenger service it was a failure, despite its striking styling.

I guess GM tried, I love the art deco style of this train, just amazing to look at :)

The whole reason it was a failure is that the bus bodied car shook like a ragdoll
