That's some magnificent lighting and framing. Man, just look at those subtle transitions in the clay-like hills. :wow: That white, red, and tan mixture of repeating diagonal lines and jutting spires... mmm, yummeh. I couldn't ask for much more from a landscape picture, except maybe a multiframe stitch so I could witness more :D Thanks for sharing. :+fav:
Damn, what kind of lens did you shoot this thing with? Looks mad telephoto.

It's rare that one sees an amazing photo when it is first posted. I got lucky, I got lucky, I didn't even have to load my message center for more C4D eye candy. Very cool shot, I've always loved semi-abstract landscapes. This shot has such beautiful tonal range and colors. I fell in love with the BW when I saw it on C4N, and I'm having a hard time deciding which I like better. This comment has taken me forever to write as I just opened up C4N and was sucked into echat...
Great texture and composition! Lovely work!!!
Holy cow that's amazing. The shadows combined with natural snow lines are just amazing. Congratulations on this shot. :-)
incredible lighting ... nice shot

Great shot, Mark.

Looks like the cold was worth it. I'll have to find out for myself, since it was 90+ the day that I saw it. The snow really punches up the texture of the place, which I thought really didn't need any help.
